The cards are the design
Each card is one pick. A hole tells a needle, and the needle tells a hook, whether that warp end rises. A weaver who already trusts a card stand keeps that way of working.
The frame is mild steel. The shed is double lift. The drive is taken from the loom, and the harness is dressed to your reed width.

Questions about this machine
When the design will stay on the loom. A dhoti border or a saree that runs for weeks is the usual case. If the pallu changes every few days, ask for the electronic head.
Yes. Border, kara and butta are ordinary work for this head. Send the border depth and a photo of the cloth.
