Timing is the fitting
The drive is taken from the rapier so the double-lift shed moves with the machine you already run. Mounting, drive and shed geometry are fixed from photographs and from the speed you actually weave.
What to send from the shed
- Reed space, and the width you actually weave.
- The speed you run on this cloth.
- Number of weft colours.
- A side photo showing the rapier and the space above the loom.
- The design file, or a photo of the saree.

- Electronic. Modules, controller and USB file.

- Your rapier. Reed space and real running speed.
- Cloth
- Saree, or another flat figured cloth.
- Weft
- Colours the rapier already selects.
- Drive
- From the rapier, so the shed stays in time.
