The loom stays
A power loom jacquard is a fitting, not a new weaving machine. Two looms with the same reed width can still need different frames and a different place to pick up the drive. The first message should be a photograph.
Which head
Mechanical when the design is stable, which is common for a dhoti border. Electronic when you want to retire the card chain and load the next pallu or butta from a file. The shuttle loom remains a shuttle loom.
Confirmed before the build
- Loom
- Your shuttle power loom. Width, single or double beam.
- Cloth
- Dhoti, saree, or both. Specify for the larger design.
- Head
- Mechanical for cards. Electronic for a USB file.
- Space
- Free height above the loom. A side photo is required.
- Drive
- Taken from this loom.
